SELF-MANAGEMENT SKILL AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO LIFE SATISFACTION AND STRESS TOLERANCE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the skill of the individual in managing himself to achieve satisfaction with life as well as his ability to withstand its pressures and also to reveal the nature of the relationship between the individual's management of himself and his life satisfaction, and to find the relationship between life satisfaction and bearing its pressures. A sample of male and female students are distributed among the study teams. The four are in the Faculty of Specific Education - Ain Shams University and the researcher used the self-management test (prepared by Naji Muhammad Hassan 2010) the measure of satisfaction with life prepared by (Magdy El-Desouki 2013) and the scale of stress operations (prepared by Lotfi Abdel Basit Ibrahim 1994), based on a sample of (155) male and female students who used the descriptive approach.
The results of the study revealed the existence of a significant correlation relationship between self-management and life satisfaction, as well as the existence of a significant correlation between self-management and bearing life pressures at a level of significance(0.01).Acorrelation between life satisfaction and life stress tolerance at asignificance level (0.01).
