THE ROLE OF GREEN TECHNOLOGY IN ACHIEVING QUALITY, INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY AS DIMENSIONS OF COMPETATIVE ADVANTAGE A FIELD STUDY ON PUBLIC BUSINESS SECTOR

Abstract

This study aims mainly to identify the role of green technology in achieving the competitive advantage of the public business sector by providing a scientific and practical framework on the concept of green technology for the companies under study. In terms of identifying the nature of green technology, its objectives, its advantages, and its role in achieving Competitive advantage by preparing a questionnaire list and using Pearson correlation coefficients and simple regression model to study the impact of the independent variable, which is green technology, on the dependent variable, which is the competitive advantage by addressing addressing the dimensions of competitive advantage, namely (Quality – Innovation and creativity). The study sample was represented by 20 public business sector companies under study, by by collecting 308 returned and valid forms for statistical analysis.
The study concluded that there is a major role for green technology on the dimensions of competitive advantage in the public business sector under study. The researchers recommended the need to adopt the application of green technology and disseminate it to all public business sector companies, in order to benefit from the advantages of its application, in addition to the importance of raising the cultural awareness of technology among company employees. And trying to take care of the public business sector companies by providing the material or moral support necessary for the transition to green technology in a way that helps improve their competitive position.
