WORK CAMPS AND STUDENT ASSOCIATIONS AND THEIR ROLE IN DEVELOPING SOCIAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS A SOCIO – PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY ON AIN SHAMS UNIVERSITY STUDENT

Abstract

Contributes student activity play an active role in the detection of students' abilities and preferences and hone their talents, and provide an opportunity for distinguished them for innovation and excellence through participation in the programs of activities that are commensurate with their talents and abilities, but also allows students practice activities the opportunity to acquire many of the life skills necessary to communicate in their community through the exercise of cultural, social, sporting and artistic activities, the study aimed to identify the student activities, types and rates of participation, social and personal skills acquired by students through their participation in student activities, the researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach through the sample survey-strong 130 single, the study found: that trips have the largest share of the participation of the respondents in the trips, then the cultural activity, social euphoria, encouragement factors to participate in activities was the highest percentage in favor of the organizers of the events involved, followed by the promotion of, and reasons not to participate in student activities concern the study, and some saw a few and by lack of take advantage of activities, whilst others, and also by a few non-conviction of the objectives of the activities.
