ELEMENTS AND COMPONENTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICS OF STUDENTS IN KUWAIT UNIVERSITY A FIELD STUDY ON DIFFERENT SAMPLES OF MIXED STUDENTS FROM DIFFERENT COLLEGES

Abstract

The current study drives at identifying the unique characteristics of preparing youth ethically which is based mainly on showing the importance of conserving the environment; exposing as well the components and elements of environmental morals in a sample of students in Kuwait university. The study also aims at identifying the differences between specializations and the academic years of students in Kuwait University in response to components and elements of environmental ethics.
The study sample consists of (616) students from all faculties, the theoretical and the scientific of Kuwait University.
The study uses a questionnaire of Quality of Life through Personal Dealing as a tool for collecting data; using also a set of scales (indicators of environmental ethics among youth) as tools for collecting data.
This to analyze data using the descriptive method for depicting present reality and expose previous results proposed in this field. The study concludes that there are significant statistical differences for the environmental importance between study sample individuals (students of Kuwaiti University) regarding the indicators and components of ethics of the environment within Kuwaiti community.
