Abstract

This research aims to study the basic social processes within the community and learn about the relationship of these social processes with some of the environmental variables (such as the social and economic level, educational level, marital status, age, sex)، As well as to identify the relationship between these social processes and some psychological variables (such as taking responsibility, self-confidence, shyness, social life, moral obligation, acceptance, respect, satisfaction, desire for excellence, emotional balance and decision-making ability) . The study relied on approach social survey sample consisted where this sample of 200 single case of residents of Port Said, who belong to different segments of socially, economically and culturally. The study also relied on the questionnaire as a data collecting tool.
The study found a range of results which are, the presence of a statistically significant difference in the basic positive and negative social processes within the community of altered marital status and was in the direction of married couples for the positive processes, and in the direction of the singles for the operations of the negative, as well as the presence of a statistically significant difference in basic positive and negativesocial processes within the community of altered AgeAnd the level of economic and social type, in addition to having a statistically significant difference between self-confident people and unsure people in the practice of the social processes within the community in the directoion of the self-confident people.
The ended with a series of recommendations including, The attention to the process of social upbringing, urging the children from an early age and brought them up to love the spirit of cooperation and rejecting the conflicts, make religious and cultural seminars to illustrate the importance of the positive social processes, and to consolidate the right habits within the community.
