CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOLOGICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESSURES AND THEIR REPERCUSSIONS ON THE STABILITY AND EMOTIONAL BALANCE ON THE SAME MEDIA

Abstract

These times are increasing social, economic and environmental changes affecting the individual and society, which led to increased pressures on him as life has become more complex and expanded demands and needs, emotional balance is one of the important aspects in the life of the individual, and it is one of the factors that determine the patterns of human personality The study to find out the pressures faced by the media, especially in the light of the current psychological wars and to know the contemporary environmental and psychological pressures affecting the ability to stability and emotional balance of the media, and the study was based on the descriptive analytical method The study sample consisted of (400) media (governmental and private newspapers - Egyptian radio - private channels) and to know the stability and emotional balance of media in all fields of media in the light of contemporary pressures. From March 2015 to January 2019 from the theoretical part to the field part and draw conclusions and recommendations
 
The study reached several results including: There is a significant relationship between psychological and environmental pressures and the stability and emotional balance of the media. The existence of psychological pressures and an environment to which media professionals are exposed, including material conditions.
The study recommended that the media be freed from the restrictions imposed on it to deal with the media material objectively and transparently, it must be working in all journalistic topics objectively away from the pressure to increase freedom of opinion and expression. The media should have a media code of ethics that takes into account the rights and duties and the interest of the country and the citizen. Work to improve the performance of media professionals through continuous training.
