ENVIRONMENTAL PRESSURES AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR HEPATITIS PATIENTS A STUDY OF VIRUS C PATIENTS IN MENOUFIA PROVINCE

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the relationships between psychological stress and psychosocial support in patients with hepatitis C virus in Menoufia governorate, which is one of the general problems suffered by the Egyptian society in general for people with hepatitis C virus. Hepatitis C virus in Menoufia governorate. The study focused on a sample of 120 patients from Menoufia governorate with hepatitis C virus.، The study took the time domain for a year and a half of 2016-2017. The geographical area of the study is in Menoufia Governorate, Shebin El Koum City (Hebin El Koum Institute, Menoufia Governorate). The measurement of psychological stress in patients with C virus was used by preparing a measure to recognize the sources of psychological pressure for patients of C virus and sources of stress, ie environmental stimuli. The results revealed a statistically significant relationship between environmental pressures, psychological and social support, psychological compatibility and disease prevalence in a sample of patients with hepatitis C virus C in Menoufia Governorate. There is a statistically significant relationship between the psychological dimensions (psychological compatibility - psychological support) and the spread of the disease in a sample of patients with hepatitis C virus in the governorate of Menoufia. There is a statistically significant relationship between the environmental pressures and the spread of the disease in a sample of patients with hepatitis C virus in Menoufia governorate. The study recommends the importance of the state to pay particular attention to its treatment system through development programs to eliminate the problems of C virus patients and to identify the environmental pressures and compatibility of patients with c virus in these areas in order to try to prepare treatment and prevention programs and awareness.
