Abstract

The study aimed to understand the impact of digital transformation on raising operational efficiency, improving environmental performance, and supporting its sustainability. The study was applied to the graduate studies sector at Ain Shams University. This study included a description of the method, the study population, and its sample, as well as the study tool used to collect data and methods of preparing it. The study population was chosen from the graduate studies sector at Ain Shams University.   The results of the study indicated that there is a relationship between the application of digital transformation and improving the level of operational efficiency. It also indicated that there is a relationship between the applications of digital transformation and both improving environmental performance and achieving environmental sustainability goals by reducing carbon footprint rates. The study recommended establishing strategies to gradually implement the digital transformation process within university administrations, continuous improvement of workers and administrators within the university with digital transformation systems through training on modern methods, spreading awareness within the university of the importance of digital transformation and its goals, preparing training programs within the university for students in the postgraduate sector of the system. digital transformation, Improving the effectiveness of the university’s platforms to reduce pressure on employees, increase efficiency, and continuously improve environmental performance within the university.
