THE IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON IMPROVEMENT QUALITY OF WORK ENVIRONMENT A FIELD STUDY ON THE CENTER OF RESEARCH & GENETIC DISEASES THERAPY -AIN SHAMS UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Concern in human element considers one of the most important axes investigated at present either in Arabic or foreign studies. Organizational culture is one the significant topics in field of developing and concerning with human element; added to that, the work environment and its quality is also one of the important issues requiring much discussion for playing a significant remarkable role in all serving sectors which on top is the health sector as one of the largest sectors enriched with human element in its various fields. The study purpose is to identify the impact of organizational culture on improving quality of work environment. This study hypotheses indicate a significant impact of the exchanged trust among employees on work environment. There is a significant impact of the aptitude for change on work environment. There is also a significant impact of the team (group) work nature on improvement of work environment. There is a significant impact of the administration's practices on nature of work environment. There is also a significant impact of respecting time on improving quality of work environment. The study drives at identifying the concepts of organizational culture and its relation to other some contemporary concepts, identifying as well the concept of quality and its correlation to the work environment and the relationship between organizational culture and achieving quality in the environment and work background. The study uses the analytical-descriptive (qualitative) method for forming the practical framework, collecting data through an investigation form. The sample consists of (30) employees in The Center Of Research & Genetic Diseases Therapy in Ain Shams University. Results indicate a significant effect of exchange trust among employees on work environment (34.9%) in significant level (0.001). there is also a significant effect of the aptitude for change on work environment (57.9%) in significance level (0.001). There is also a significant effect of the group work nature on improvement of work environment (46.2%), in significant level (0.001). There is a significant effect of the administration's practices on nature of work environment (69.2%), in significant level (0.001). There is also a significant effect of respecting time on improving quality of work environment (30.5%), in significant level (0.002). There is a significant effect of applying organizational culture on quality improvement of work environment (71.7%), and by testing of significance of regression model, counting on (F) value that reached (70.919) in significance level (0.001) the significance of effect was approved.
