Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify (the extent of the sequence of environmental concepts in the stages of middle education in Iraq, as well as the development of environmental concepts and values), where the research problem was determined: in the presence of shortcomings among middle school students towards environmental concepts and values and the extent of the need for their development among students of this stage. Hence, a group of Environmental values to be developed for students of this stage due to the importance of inculcating these values and also how to provide them with environmental concepts. Science has been used as a curriculum for developing environmental concepts and values through it. The experimental method has been used in the current research and a proposed model has been prepared and research tools have been designed which are ( A measure of environmental values – and a test of environmental concepts) The research tools were tested before and after with the research group, which
consisted of nearly favor students The research reached the following most important results:
There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the study group students in the environmental concepts test and its sub-dimensions before and after the application of the test in favor of the post application. There are statistically significant differences between the mean in the environmental values scale and its sub-dimensions before and after the application of the program in favor of the post application
