EVALUATION OF THE AUDIENCE RESEARCH DEPARTMENT AT GREATER CAIRO RADIO WITH ITS ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS

Abstract

The study aims to identify “the role and importance of the Listeners Research Department at the National Media Authority in evaluating the performance of environmental programs provided by Greater Cairo Radio of the Egyptian Radio,” as well as studying the extent of benefit from evaluating the performance of environmental programs presented in improving the performance of the providers and preparers of these programs with the aim of contributing to the achievement of  The environmental dimension as one of the most important dimensions of sustainable development;  In addition to verifying the suitability of the administrative tools used in the process of measuring and evaluating the performance of environmental programs according to modern standards, in order to achieve the required of them, and the study was conducted on (50) individuals representing officials and workers in the environmental programs of Greater Cairo Radio, and the Audience Research Department, and the researchers used the inductive approach.  And deductive and descriptive method for completing the study. A questionnaire was designed to measure the opinions of the study sample on the importance of evaluating the Audience Research Department at Greater Cairo Radio regarding its environmental programs.
The researchers reached the following results:
-       There is a statistically significant relationship between environmental programs and raising environmental awareness among the listeners.  Where the general average of the total dimension was (3.52), with a standard deviation (0.813) and a relative weight (70.4%).
-        There is a statistically significant relationship between evaluation of environmental program performance and audience research.
