Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between environmental management and reduce the risks of toxic chemical gases, and the main objective of the research can be achieved by shedding light on a set of sub-objectives, which is to test the relationship between: environmental performance, sustainability of resource consumption, application of comprehensive quality standards environmental, recycling and treatment strategy, compliance with occupational safety and health standards, sustainability of the work environment, environmental monitoring and auditing and reducing the risks of toxic chemical gases.
The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the study, and this approach relied on combining theoretical research and field study to reach an effective research framework. The researcher also prepared a survey list that was distributed to a random sample of workers at different job levels in the factories and sites of the Suez Cement Company, who numbered about 302 individuals. All survey lists were valid for analyzing the results of the answers received in them statistically. The general results of the research showed the validity, validity and effectiveness of the proposed study model.
One of the most important results reached is that there is a strong direct correlation between the dimensions of environmental management and reducing the risks of toxic chemical gases, and that the optimal model for the relationship between environmental management and reducing the risks of toxic chemical gases is the model that includes the following variables in the same order (application of comprehensive quality standards environment, adherence to occupational safety and health standards, environmental performance, and sustainability of resource consumption). Consuming it at a large and continuous rate.
