Abstract

The research aimed to identify the extent of the role of reducing costs while maintaining quality while clarifying the tools and requirements of quality in the automotive industry, as well as clarifying the extent to which clean technology and compatible with environmental standards are used in production processes to improve quality and enhance the competitiveness of the automotive industry in Egypt, and to achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire form was designed and distributed to a sample of (56) individuals who were divided into accountants and auditors in the financial department, as well as those responsible for quality management, and occupational safety and health management in A company. F Automotive for the automotive industry in Egypt, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to complete the study, and the appropriate statistical tests to test the validity of the hypotheses and answer the questions of the study, and the results of the study found a statistically significant correlation between cost reduction and improving competitiveness: where the correlation coefficient reached 0.882, at a significant level of 0.01, and it was found that there was a statistically significant correlation between cost reduction and the application of quality requirements, where the correlation coefficient reached 0.692, at a significant level 0.01, and it was also found that there is a statistically significant correlation between the use of clean technology and the reduction of negative environmental impacts, as the correlation coefficient reached 0.971 at a significant level of 0.01, and in light of the findings of the study, it concluded several recommendations, the most important of which are: the need to reduce costs while maintaining the level of production quality, the need to pay attention to the application of quality requirements to enhance competitiveness, the need to switch to green through the use of clean technology to reduce negative environmental impacts.
