Abstract

In pursuit of achieving sustainable development, Egypt’s Vision 2030 affirmed that there is an urgent need to deal with waste from the point of view of resource management and not waste management. .
The absence of official policies and strategic objectives that address all stages of the integrated management system for solid environmental waste at all levels of government and the private sector due to the lack of an institutional structure capable of planning, organizing and implementing the integrated system that is based on a database that provides and related statistics.
The issue of waste management through the application of the circular economy has become one of the topics that have received attention from all countries, and the issue of preserving the environment and resources has become one of the most important responsibilities of major countries.
The shift from waste management to resource management (circular economy) The term circular economy must be studied, and the most important feature of contributing to cost savings is to attract new sources of income, strengthen relations with stakeholders, and reduce the effects of crises if they occur.
The method used: the descriptive method
Tools used: tools subject to the descriptive approach, analysis and analysis of organized documents and analysis of the environmental impacts of economics and management.
