Abstract

The current research aimed to study The Effectiveness of Proposed Activities in Global Environmental Occasions for Developing Knowledge and Attitudes towards Sustainable Development for Preparatory Stage Students. In order to achieve this goal, previous studies and research related to the subject of the research were used and used, and the use of research tools that benefit from the current research.
The research relied on the semi-experimental one-group curriculum using some tools such as the questionnaire to conduct an exploratory study to determine the current state of knowledge on global environmental Occasions for the research sample, and prepare a list of global environmental Occasions (prepared by researchers) that were adopted or celebrated by the United Nations General Assembly to gain the status Globalism,
As well as preparing a proposal for a set of extra-curricular activities (prepared by researchers) related to global environmental Occasions , and preparing a test for environmental knowledge and a scale of environmental Attitudes (prepared by researchers) to identify the effectiveness of the proposed extra-curricular activities to achieve the goals of the research sample that was developed for it. After confirming the charity and consistency of a group The research is among the students of the preparatory stage, who are (30) students. The test and the scale were applied to the research sample before applying the activities, then the activities of the activities were applied to the research sample. In the end, the test and the scale were applied to the research group, where he ended up with a number of studies. The most important results:
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post applications to test knowledge of global environmental Occasions  as a whole in favor of the post test.
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post applications of the scale of environmental Attitudes as a whole in favor of the post test.
- Among the most important recommendations of the research was the necessity of spreading awareness of developing knowledge and Attitudes on global environmental occasions in the various education stages and merging them with the academic curricula. And preparing a set of booklets and documentaries for international environmental Occasions  to enable students and researchers to benefit from their scientific content due to their rarity and that were among the most important obstacles to this researchscientific and environmental content due to their rarity and which were among the main obstacles to this study.
