Two field experiments were conducted over two consecutive winter seasons 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 in sandy soil, of Agriculture Station ARC at Ismalia governorate, Egypt. The experiment was split plot design with three replicates. The obtained results cleared that the compost and biofertilizers application combined with 75 kg fed-1 N + 150 kg fed-1 P2O5 + 50 kg fed-1 K2O increased N, P and K concentrations and uptake in seeds of quinoa plants. The interaction between biofertilizers and compost combined with different rates of mineral fertilizers was significant for plant length (cm), weight of seeds /plant, weight of 1000 grains and weight of grains yield (ton fed-1), while the No. of branches was not significant. The highest values of the protein (%), protein yield (kg fed-1), carbohydrates (%), oil (%) and chlorophyll (mg g-1 f.w.) contents in quinoa were obtained with compost combined with mineral fertilizers at rate (75 N + 150 P2O5 + 50 K2O kg fed-1) as compared with other treatments. It could be recommended the use of integrated biofertilizers or compost combined with 75% of the recommended mineral fertilizers for production of quinoa plant grown on sandy soils.
نوصى باستخدام الاسمدة الحيوية المتکاملة او الکمبوست متحدين بنسبة 75% من التسميد المعدنى الموصى به للکينوا تحت ظروف الاراضى الرملية.https://jes.journals.ekb.eg/article_247789_5963f497eb0bd1f043cb9ff08cb05ac5.pdfAin Shams University, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental ResearchJournal of Environmental Science1110-082651120220101ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF PLANTING JOJOBA PLANTS AS TREE FORESTS IN THE DESERT BACKSTOP ON BILATERALLY TREATED SEWAGE ACCORDING TO EGYPTIAN CODE NO. 501 FOR THE YEAR 2015 ADالأهمية الاقتصادية لزراعة نباتات الجوجوبا کغابات شجرية

Thus, a new agricultural area can be added to be used as a respiratory lung irrigated with treated sewage water. The woody trees and jojoba plants are the most compatible plants with the land and water resources and environmental conditions in Egypt. One of the strategic solutions for the cultivation of the desert backs of the Egyptian governorates, but the expansion of the cultivation of those Plants are limited in what is not commensurate with their economic and environmental importance. The research aimed to study the economics of jojoba plant production and financial feasibility through a financial evaluation and sensitivity analysis of the jojoba seed production farm in the Bayad Al Arab Forest - Beni Suef. B/C) at the discount prices of %8, %10 for jojoba trees without changing the factors of costs and revenues and the life of the project amounted to about 1.59، 1.46 for each of them, respectively, which confirms the feasibility of the project, as the ratio of revenues to costs is greater than the correct one, which means that each pound invested in the project achieves a net return of about 0.61 and 0.53 pounds for each of them, respectively. The net current cash flows or net present value of the project (NPV) amounted to about 67739 and 55025 pounds for each of them, respectively, and accordingly, the payback period for the project's capital was estimated at about 3.3 years, which confirms that there is a speed in recovering the capital. From the above it is clear that the project is economically feasible.
