Civil Aviation is one of the most growing up industries around the world, which consumes large amounts of fossil fuel in its various operations such as takeoff, landing, power generation and each other ground services. This makes determination of emissions inventory from its sources for airports transaction very important to determine the effects of gaseous emissions and airport footprint. One of those airports is Cairo International Airport which is the major airport in Egypt and is going on to expand its operations and strategic plans aiming to become a large hub airport in the Middle East. This paper is calculating the emissions from the Airport sources (Aircraft movement, ground services, landside traffic and secondary power generators) by using the mathematical calculation for their emission factor. It was found that the most affected area is the area near runway end 05C which is near to Nasr city district and there are high traffic movements in comparison to the total passenger movement which is around77624 movement/year, and this number represents 52.8% of the total LTO Cycles in the airport. This makes it the most polluted area; thus, there is a need to redistribute the movements between the runways 05C, 05L and 05R.The traffic movements (245,000 vehicle/day) is very high in comparison to the total passenger movements which is 16 Million passenger/Year (about 43,836 passenger/day), this makes the underground an effective environmental control measure

Background: In the Registrar General’s Decennial Supplement for 1951, bronchitis and myocardial degeneration were both responsible for excessive mortality among cotton spinners and chronic rheumatic disease was an important, although relatively rare, cause of death for cotton weavers. Aim of the work: The present study designed to investigate the environmental indicators and risk factors in textile workers that increase risk of cardiac malfunction and personal conventional risk factors in textile workers that increase risk of cardiac malfunction. In addition, the most susceptible persons to cardiac malfunction among the exposed workers in textile job to avoid exposure as preventive measures. Subjects and methods: A cross sectional study that included workers in textile companies mainly the most exposed persons to environmental and conventional risk factors. Subjects were divided into two groups: Group A: included subjects exposed to risk factors insides textile departments [included 120 subjects who fulfilled inclusion criteria]; Group B: included non-exposed subjects in the other departments, as a control group [included 120 subjects]. Inclusion criteria included the following: male subject, age more than 30 years, work period inside factor is more than 5 years and control group not exposed to textile risk factors before. All cases were underwent full history taking, clinical evaluation, laboratory evaluation and ECG examination. Results: There was significant increase of known environmental risk factors(chemical and physical), past history of medical risk factors, smoking, blood pressure, heart rate, lipid profile and ECG abnormalities in study group, when compared to control group. On the other hand, there was insignificant difference between cases and controls as regard age, marital state, BMI, random blood sugar, alcohol drinking or duration of work. Conclusion: There is an association between environmental risk factors and development of cardio-vascular disease; and it can be explained by that: environmental risk especially noise and temperature variations leads to increased traditional risk factors of CVD and subsequently development of the disease.

Diminution of fossil fuel inspires researches to look for renewable energy sources. Heat island and road accidents resulted from tires explosion due to excessive asphalt heat (reach to 70 oC) were another problems. These problems oriented researchers to use asphalt as a heat collector. They found by using asphalt as a heat collector it will gain energy, reduce heat island and reduce road accidents as well. Recently researchers started to use some applications of asphalt solar collector (ASC). Majority of these applications used to heat and cool water. In this research, the first ASC prototype was built outside the laboratory and using atmospheric air as a working fluid. The environmental parameters such as ambient temperature, variation of solar day time, asphalt surface temperature is considered. This prototype consisted of buried pipes under asphalt layers with two opening ends. One end is connected to atmospheric air duct and the other ends connected to Unplasticized Poly Vinyl Chloride (UPVC) chimney. It has been found compatibility with the laboratory study in the strong effect of the chimney height on the air flow velocity through the ASC. Also it can be concluded that the ASC prototype performance for producing energy depends on prototype components in terms of chimney height, asphalt temperature and the environmental / atmospheric conditions in terms of ambient air temperature, and ambient wind speed. Key words: Asphalt collector, solar energy, energy harvesting, and air velocity.

This paper aims to investigate the role of empowerment on employee performance in petroleum industry - EMS department- in order to improve the application of the EMS ISO 14001. The study addresses two perspectives of empowerment (i.e., structural and psychological). Research population three hundred and seventy-seven questionnaires. Findings reveal that both forms of empowerment have a positive and significant impact on employees’ performance. However, psychological empowerment has a stronger impact on employees’ behavior than does structural empowerment. Three dimensions of structural empowerment (communications, training, and knowledge and skills) have a significant positive impact on the dependent variable. In addition, three dimensions of psychological empowerment (meaning, competences and impact) have significant and positive impacts on employees’ performance. This study offers new insights into the existing literature and provides implications and directions for future research.

The current study aims at knowing the relationship between the inhabitants of the graveyards and the child's concept of himself as well as his awareness towards the others (social awareness). -The sample of the study included (100) of the children of Cairo divided as follows: (50) of those living in the graveyards and (50) of those living in Mansyhat Nasser. The study then used the descriptive comparative methodology in data collecting; as the researcher used the (self-concept scale) to know the relationship between the self-concept and the residency. -These data were statistically measured and the study ended to the fact that there are differences of statistical significance among the residency and the self-concept dimensions as a whole. There are no statistically significant differences among the kind of child and the dimensions of self-concept and there are no differences of statistical significance between the kind and the inhabitance of the graveyards and the dimensions of self-concept as a whole. There is an extrusive direct relation between the self-concept and the concept or awareness of the other; the more children are self-aware –the more his is socially conscious in the light of the current study and its result and through the remarks of the researcher we recommend the following: 1-The necessity of letting other children expresses their feelings and their opinions. 2-The importance of providing life-needs and the essential leisure time pursuits. 3-The importance of providing suitable home for these children.

This study drives at measuring the effectiveness of a proposed model for handling environmental issues in Arab woman magazines for developing environmental values and skills. The study uses the analytical-descriptive (qualitative) method in order to evaluate the content of the Arab woman magazines of issues and environmental topics, focusing as well on the readers 'concern in those issues and their construction of their value and skill level. The study uses the quasi-experimental method to apply the proposed module and measure its impact on developing environmental values and skills among a group of (50) female readers from Cairo and Alexandria governorates and some Arab States (study sample). The study also uses the two-fold survey method, the qualitative and the analytical, making a checklist of the environmental issues and problems that the readers are concerned with. The study uses these research tools: A content analysis tool of the Arab woman magazines, a Questionnaire Form, Scale of Environmental Values and Skills (by researcher), a (50) forms for each tool. The study comes to these results: There are significant statistical differences at (0.05) significance level on Scale of Environmental Values and Scale of Environmental Skills of the experimental group pre/post measurement, in favour of the post-measurement. The results also show a positive impact of the four environmental models (the environment's life) on the environmental value and skill component of female readers regarding the post application of scale of Values and scale of skills. Given the analytical study, it becomes evident that Zaharat Al-Khalig (study sample) magazine considers the most interested one in environment and pollution issues; while both of Hawaa and Saidaty magazines differ partially in their interests, denoting that Arab woman magazines are in critical need to more studies and research involved in the environment's issues, publishing information concerning the environment in different divergent journalistic forms.

The research aims to study the effect of the application of environmental quality standards on the agricultural exports competitiveness. This was done through the identification of the most important quality standards, food hygiene, its classification and its impact on international trade. The researcher reviewed the most important concepts about food quality and the most important agreements, standards and systems concerned with food control. Also, the identification of the most important environmental standards of the European Union was done. It was clarified the concept of competitiveness, its types, determinants, stages and methods of measurement and the relationship between environmental quality standards and competitiveness.
Then the researcher clarifies competitiveness of Egyptian agricultural exports and its current international situation. Also, he analyzes the quality cost and its impact on product competitiveness. PAM for subject crops was done with analysis of the competitiveness of the most important export crops indicators (peanuts, oranges, green beans) in the Suez Canal district.
The field study has been conducting on companies in the field of agricultural crops exportation. So, the study was divided into two parts (companies corporate quality standards / companies are not corporate environmental quality standards). This was done to study the effect of the successful application of environmental quality standards on companies worked in the field of agricultural exportation and its impact on the competitiveness ability
First: The study population and sample:
Researchers obtained a list of companies operating in the export of agricultural products and the sources of this data were: Quarantine department in Ismailia, Marketing Department of Agricultural Directorate in Ismailia. Two companies were selected jointly which are specializing in crops under study (peanuts, oranges, green beans). The first community was the companies that implement environmental quality standards and the second community of companies that do not apply the environmental quality standards. The study was limited to Ismailia governorate without the rest of other Suez Canal governorates due to the unavailability of data on the economic performance of agricultural foreign trade for these governorates, in addition to the agricultural character which characterizes the economic activity in Ismailia compared to the rest of the Suez Canal governorates.
Second Methodology of the study:
This study is based on descriptive analytical method where the researcher was adopted at the sample collection on intentional sample pattern which was taken from the companies applied the standards of environmental quality and those are not. The researcher conducts personal interviews with directors of quality and export departments to collect data by questionnaire to consolidate the search results.
Methodological procedures for the search: questionnaire designing then determine research sample. The researchers prepare an inventory of all the companies that are exporting crops under study.
The third step: the data were collected from 22 companies which were committed to adopting environmental quality standards of the total number of 25 companies and factory.
Third study result:
SOWT analysis refers to many opportunities and strengths for the activity of foreign agricultural trade which can be accessed to export a unique place globally. Also, some of the weaknesses and threats may affect the export process, which can be overcome through solidarity between the companies and the country.
Fourth Study Recommendations:
The interest in research and development activities aimed at improving the Egyptian agricultural product and enhances its competitiveness in foreign markets quality, through the establishment of a special fund for research and development in which both the government and the private sector contribute to foreign aid and to improve the capacities of research centers, development and deepening of technological capabilities

In fact, economic, political, and industrial progress in addition to the emergence of advanced production technology has led to increase of global competition in field of total quality. Moreover, competition has become the first ruler in business environment. Consequently, institutions in general and industrial organizations in particular, are working hard to meet such development and keep up-to-date through using a strategic perspective that is crystallized in the well-management of their organizations from both internal and external competitive environment, by also analyzing weakness and strength points and managing costs. Management of costs considers one of the main factors of competition in modern environments attempting to achieve production in least costs, highest quality, and best price in order to gratify clients. This research purpose is to present a proposed framework for developing approaches of preparing cost-lists in strategic industries in order to pricing them. The study uses the inductive and the deductive methods. The inductive method aims at preparing the theoretical framework and forming the study problem and hypotheses; while the deductive method drives at designing an investigation form using Likert Quintet Scale. Study population is represented in employees working in strategic industries companies, namely, (Pharmacology companies). The sample consists of (100) items, and their matching and reliability are tested by counting Alfa value; since they are all bigger than (0.07), denoting consistency of variables. The researcher uses Pearson Coefficient Correlation to count validity of internal consistency between each axis and the total investigation. The coefficient correlation values have been statistically significant at (0.05) level.
The most important results of study show a significant correlation between decision of pricing products in industries and the development of cost measuring approaches and increasing of the competitive ability of those industries. There is a significant difference between production costs using traditional approaches and using the suggested approach. There is a significant difference between the net profits of products using traditional methods and using the proposed approach. This research recommends the necessity for reducing production costs by following cost management approaches and considering the proposed approach for measuring costs production at decision-making of pricing strategic industries' products.
