THE BENEFIT ASPECTS FROM INTERNATIONAL EXPERIMENTS IN HEALTH INSURANCE SERVICE IN EGYPT

Abstract

There is doubt that concerning with health aspects and presenting health care for any society has its own reflections on its individuals' productive part, contributing in turn in achieving more positive economic outcomes. Consequently, this study attempts to examine some successful states' experiments in field of health care services in Egypt. So, this study drives at benefitting from these states' experiments in the health insurance service, particularly, the medical service itself and resources of funding of this service. The study sets a proposed framework for benefitting from the various international states' experiments in the health insurance service in Egypt, particularly, with the issue of the new law health insurance that has started to be applied on some governorates in Egypt. Regarding these experiments of other states which have different aspects to make use of such as the British experiment, the Japanese experiment, and the Canadian, Corian and Indian experiment. The researchers count on international reports published on the internet. The study comes to the necessity for increasing the role of the private sector and full-time physicians who work in public hospitals and setting plans and special policies for development of health services.
Recommendations:

Variation of funding resources to expend on health and increase contribution of the private sector and the society's civil organizations.
Establishing a union for pricing medications and distribute them to hospitals.
