The current study aimed to identify the social variables associated with the school environment for outstanding students of both sexes and its impact on academic excellence. The sample of the study consisted of secondary school students from STEM schools for outstanding students of science and technology in different governorates. The researcher used the sample social survey approach, the comparative descriptive approach, and used the two measures of the student's social relations. The physical environment of the school, and the results of the study revealed the great role that the family plays in the life of the individual to confirm that the family and school social relations for male and female students are good and have an impact on excellence in rural and urban areas. While there is no statistically significant correlation between the physical environment scale of the school and the scale of the student's social relations in the rural sample, there are statistically significant differences between rural and urban areas in the social variables associated with the school environment, and there are differences due to the gender variable in relation to family and school social relations in rural and urban areas. In favor of the male sample, there are no statistically significant differences between male and female students in the physical environment variables of the school in rural and urban areas, The study recommended: the interest of the Ministry of Education to increase the multiple activities in the schools of the outstanding students to create a nature full of cultural and social diversity among the category of the outstanding students, and the interest of the STEM schools for the outstanding students in social and recreational activities to increase the excellence of its students and not to limit these schools to scientific studies only.
