Abstract

The research aimed to identify the degree of knowledge of the respondent farmers related to the methods of safe disposal of agricultural waste in one of the villages of Al-Ayyat Center - Giza Governorate،  and to determine the nature of the correlation between the degree of knowledge of the study sample and the independent variables studied،  and to determine the percentage of the contribution of the independent variables combined in the total variance of the degree of knowledge of the study sample with methods Safe disposal of agricultural waste،  and identifying the problems facing farmers in the safe disposal of agricultural waste،  and their proposals to solve these problems.
The most important research results By using the chi-square test،  it was found that the most important dependent variables affecting the cognitive level of the recommendations for the safe disposal of agricultural waste for the study sample are: the age of the respondent،  the educational status of the respondent،  the number of family members،  the main occupation of the respondent،  the number of years of experience in farm work،  the area of ​​agricultural holding،  and the possession of animals Farming،  possession of agricultural machinery،  the degree of official social participation of the respondent،  the degree of cultural openness،  the degree of exposure of the respondent to agricultural information sources،  the attitude towards agricultural innovations. The research recommended providing agricultural guides in the field of recycling agricultural waste،  providing machines for chopping and cutting agricultural waste،  and activating laws related to imposing fines on violating farmers with regard to the safe disposal of agricultural waste.
