EVALUATING THE JOURNALISTIC TREATMENT OF RIGHTNESS ISSUES IN QUALITY OF LIFE

Abstract

The current study drives at revaluating the journalistic performance of quality of life issues through examining a sample consistent of (150) journalists aged (25-55 yrs.), working in different journals (Al-Ahram – Al-Akhbar – Watany – Middle East News Agency – Al-Wafd – Al-Ahrar – Al-Gomhoria – Al-Tahrir – Al-Want – Al-Masry El-Youm) through using a questionnaire form. Researchers rely on review of literatures concerning with and involved in press and human rights and their relation to quality of life counting on a sample of newspapers in the analytical study (Al-Ahram – Al-Wafd –Al-Masry El-youm) using a content analysis form which conclusion of their results are that the news is the eminent form in treating and handling issues of human rights that are associated with quality of life; while other forms of artistic spotlighting have retreated. The attitude towards the cause comes with 50% advocating of forms. The analytical study using the descriptive method comes to the necessity of separating property, editing, and advertisement in all institutions and separating political biography from published issues.
The field study results indicate difficulties exist a journalist meets to get information. Also, political conditions affect treating these issues and editing policy creates stresses upon journals. Consequently, the researchers suggest and recommend merging the cases of rightness in all the editing forms of quality of life, activating as well the management of editing within journalistic institutions.
